Open #post-a-job while signed in. GrowthX members and hiring teams use it for full-time roles that meet the club's posting rules.

Read the full post for the role, company, location, work arrangement, experience, compensation range and application route. Apply through the route the post gives; that may be the employer's form or a message to the person who posted.

A listing is an opportunity to apply, not a promise of an interview or offer. Check the post date and confirm that the role is still open before sending personal information.

Open the Post a job club in Community while signed in. Members share opportunities there. Check each post for the application route. If it is missing, ask the poster how to apply.

Before preparing an application, read the role for three things: the problem you would work on, the experience required, and the location or working arrangement. A familiar title is a starting point; the responsibilities tell you whether the work fits.

• If the role fits: follow the application route in the post. Explain which requirement matches your experience and include one relevant example of your work.
• If a detail is missing: ask the poster a focused question. For example: “Does this role require being based in Bengaluru, or can the team consider someone working remotely?”
• If you are unsure about the experience required: compare the responsibilities with work you can already demonstrate. Be clear about the areas you have handled and the ones you would need to develop.

Start with one role you can explain your fit for. The employer decides whom to interview and hire; a shared opportunity or introduction does not guarantee an interview.

Update your GrowthX profile before asking for a referral. Add your current role, relevant experience, a clear bio and work links that the recipient can open.

• Lead with the kind of work you do and the problems you have solved.
• Use outcomes and evidence instead of a list of responsibilities.
• Link to a resume, portfolio, proof of work or LinkedIn profile that is current.
• Remove confidential employer, customer and personal information.

Send one specific request: the exact role, why you fit it, and one relevant result or work sample. Ask whether the member is comfortable referring you; do not assume that being in the same community creates an obligation.

A useful message is short enough to evaluate quickly:

1. Role: title, company and job link.
2. Fit: two or three requirements you meet.
3. Evidence: one result, portfolio item or proof of work.
4. Ask: whether they are comfortable referring or advising you.

A referral is voluntary and does not guarantee an interview. Do not send the same message to many members or ask someone to endorse work they cannot evaluate.
