Build Sprint

Also called Build Week, AI Immersion and AI Weekender. What you get, the time it takes, the tools and what you submit.

Is Build Sprint the same as Build Week, AI Immersion or AI Weekender?

Yes. Build Sprint is the current name for the programme that also ran as AI Weekender, AI Immersion and Build Week.

Each run has its own dates, price and offers. An offer belongs to the run it was made for and does not carry to a later one. The current dates and price are on the Build Sprint page.

What do I get out of this?

You learn to build an AI-native product, and to sell one.

On the build side, you make a real product with AI at its core — take the AI out and it cannot exist — and learn the engineering underneath it: harnesses, context, tokens, memory, tools and agents.

On the sell side, you learn why selling an AI product is different from selling an ordinary app: pick one real problem and one specific buyer, position and package the product, sell it on socials and directly to businesses, and let the market tell you what to build next.

Do I need to know how to code?

Nope.

You build with AI coding tools, your handbook walks you through setup before kickoff, and the scope stays sane enough for a first-time builder to ship. If you can write a clear prompt, you can do this.

How much time does this take?

2 hours after work and 6 hours on weekends.

At a minimum, 1 hour every day after work and 4 hours on weekends. Live sessions are 11 AM – 1 PM IST on the first weekend, 11 AM – 12 PM IST on the second, and a Q&A at 8 PM – 9 PM IST on both Wednesdays.

Can I do this with a full-time job?

Yes. It is built for that.

Live sessions sit on weekend mornings and Wednesday evenings. Weekday work is two hours after work, on your own schedule.

What will I use?

Codex, GitHub and Convex.

Codex is your coding agent. It runs on ChatGPT, and your seat comes with a month of ChatGPT Pro while slots last; if you already pay for Claude Max, you can use Claude Code instead. GitHub holds your code, and Convex puts your app online and handles sign-up and log-in. Your handbook walks you through setting it all up.

Can my app have its own domain?

Your app goes live for free at a .convex.site address, and that’s all you need for the sprint. Convex’s free plan doesn’t give you a custom domain. If you want your own name, like yourapp.com, buy the domain and connect it through Cloudflare. It’s optional.

What do I need before it starts?

A laptop of your own.

Mac or Windows, with admin rights to install things — work laptops often block that. Once you register, your handbook walks you through claiming ChatGPT Pro, setting up your laptop and three small projects before kickoff.

Do I have to bring my own idea?

No.

Bring one if there is a pain you feel. If not, the handbook’s idea selection framework walks you through picking one before you lock it.

What happens in the second week?

You stop building and start selling.

Saturday is a GTM masterclass on selling through one strong video, and you make yours. Sunday is outreach and your first attempt at a sale. On Monday your GTM goes live on socials, you post through the week, and you fold what buyers say back into the product.

What do I actually submit?

A live URL, a public repo, and your numbers.

Before 11 AM IST on the sprint's last Saturday. If it is live, it counts. If it is a screenshot of something on your laptop, it does not.

What counts as winning?

Shipping is the floor. Your numbers decide the rest.

You pick one track — Virality, Revenue or AI Agent as a Service — and are scored against its rubric on real, checkable numbers, with bonus points for wins in the other two. One stranger using your product beats another ten hours of polishing. Someone paying for it is better still.

Patience—you’re about to be impressed.
