Events

Find an event, confirm your place and know what to expect before you arrive.

How do I find events by city, date, topic and online or in-person format?

Start at Events. Search for an event or topic, pick a city under CITIES, or use the tabs: All events · AI · Virtual · In person · Registered · Past events.

There is no date filter. Events are listed with their date on each card, so open an event for its full time, location and registration details. Registered shows the events you have signed up for.

You can explore events in any city. Seeing an event does not mean you have a place; check the card for Sold out, Pending Approval or Registered.

Can non-members attend, and are any formats restricted?

Yes, where the event offers non-member registration or a guest request. Open the event while signed in to see the options for your account. Some events require membership, an invitation or approval.

The standard non-member allowance is two event registrations over your lifetime. It counts completed non-member registrations, not only events you checked into. Some events are exempt from this limit; the event's registration message will show whether you can continue.

  • Registration available: complete the questions and any payment shown. An event ticket does not include GrowthX membership.
  • Members-only event: your registration shows You're waitlisted until a GrowthX member approves it. Share the request with a member you know from the event page.
  • Guest allowance used: the event may require membership before you can register again. Do not create another account to retry.

At in-person events, up to half the places can go to non-members. When those are taken, you will see "Non-member registrations are full".

If you already have the required membership but see a non-member restriction, check that you are using the account linked to it. If the message still seems wrong, use Report an issue to send the event link and the exact message.

Can I bring a guest or register on someone else's behalf?

Each attendee needs their own registration; your ticket does not automatically cover a guest. Tickets are personal and cannot be transferred.

If the event allows it, use Invite +1 on the event page after registering and share the generated link with your guest. They must open it and complete their own registration, including any questions, payment or approval steps shown.

If there is no guest option, ask the organiser before bringing someone. A shared event link or invitation is not itself a confirmed ticket, and using your account to register a second person can leave their attendance under the wrong name.

What do You're waitlisted and Pending Approval mean?

Neither status is a confirmed place. Your place is confirmed only when the event shows Registered.

  • You're waitlisted: you registered as a non-member for a members-only event. Any GrowthX member can approve you. Use the share option on the event page to send your request to a member you know.
  • Pending Approval: the host reviews every registration for this event. If you are accepted, you get an email confirmation. If you are declined, any payment is refunded within 3–5 business days.
  • Sold out: the event is full. There is no queue for a full event, so check Events for another date.

Do not register or pay again while a request is pending. If your status looks wrong, report it with the event link.

Why is an event unavailable even though places appear to remain?

Available places do not always mean registration is open to your account. An event can still have space after registration closes, while an approval is pending, or after its non-member allocation fills.

Sign in to the account you want to attend with and reopen the event. Read the registration message there.

  • Registration closed: the booking deadline or event start may have passed. A remaining place does not override that deadline.
  • Membership or guest limit: check the required access and your non-member allowance. Non-member places can run out before the whole event is full.
  • Waitlisted or Pending Approval: your request is awaiting a decision. Follow the waitlist guidance rather than submitting or paying again.

If the message conflicts with your membership or confirmed registration, use Report an issue to send the event link, exact message and a screenshot. Include your payment reference if you have already paid.

How do I get updates from the host, and how do I reach them?

Hosts send updates by email, and you can reach a host from the event page.

  • Updates: when a host sends an update, it arrives by email and appears under Updates on the event page. Open the event with the account you registered with to see every update in one place.
  • Message the host: open the host's card under Meet your host or HOSTED BY and select Message the host. This works before you register and requires an active membership. Your message reaches the host in Messages with the event attached, and their reply comes back to your Messages.
  • Call the host: for an in-person event, the host may add a phone number. Once your place is confirmed, it shows under Call the host on the event page; tap it to call. It is also in your confirmation email.

Where can I find recordings, photos, feedback and a way to report a problem?

Start by reopening the event. The available material depends on what the organiser has shared; not every event is recorded or has a photo collection.

  • Recording: look for Watch recording when a replay has been published.
  • Photos, slides or other material: check the event page, the host's Updates and the follow-up message. If something promised is missing, ask the organiser about that specific item.
  • Feedback: scan the QR the host shows near the end, or use the feedback prompt on the event page. It opens 30 minutes before the end and stays open for a week. Keep feedback about the experience separate from an urgent problem that needs a response.
  • Wrong check-in or attendance: tell the organiser during the event. After it ends, use Report an issue to send the event link and the correction.

For conduct or safety concerns, use Report an issue with the event and what happened. Share personal details privately, in that report or a direct message. If you do not want to be photographed, tell the organiser at the event; for an existing photo, identify it when contacting them.

How do I register for an event?

Open the event from Events and select Register. If you are not signed in, you sign in with your phone number first.

  • Answer any questions the host asks, then pay if the event has a ticket or token price.
  • If the page says This is a private event, the host approves each registration. You will see Pending Approval until they decide.
  • Once you see Registered, use Add to calendar and Remind me about the event to set a reminder call.
  • Find all your upcoming events under My Events.

The exact address and guest list appear after you register. Non-members can attend two events in total.

How do I cancel my registration?

Open the event and select Opt-Out, then confirm Cancel Reservation. This frees your place for someone else.

Tickets are non-refundable, except where the Terms of Use say otherwise: if an event needs the host's approval and you are not approved, or if a paid event is made free after you paid, your payment is refunded automatically.

Can I get a refund on an event ticket?

Event tickets are final and non-refundable, unless the page you bought from or the event's own terms say otherwise. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, non-attendance or partial use.

You get your money back in these cases:

  • You were not approved: if an event needs the host's approval and you are not approved, your payment is refunded automatically.
  • The event was made free: if a paid event is made free after you paid, your payment is refunded automatically.
  • The event was cancelled: if a paid event is cancelled and no alternative is offered, your payment goes back to the account you paid from, automatically, within a few hours of the cancellation. Your bank may take 5–7 business days to show it. You can see where it is on growthx.club under My Events → Cancelled, on the event's page, and next to the invoice in Billing.

We may also, entirely at our discretion, give a full or partial refund, for example where an event was materially not as advertised. A refund in one case does not create a right to one in another. See the Terms of Use.

What is the gift for event feedback?

After some events, you can win a gift for your feedback: an amount off your next paid GrowthX event ticket. When an event offers one, the feedback form says so, for example Write 15 words for a gift worth up to ₹249.

  • Who can win: anyone who held a seat at the event. Hosts and co-hosts don't win gifts for their own events.
  • What counts: answer the feedback questions and write a comment of at least the length the form shows.
  • When: only feedback given while the form is open can win, and it closes a week after the event. Only events that end after gifts started count.
  • How many: each event can give you one gift, and there is a monthly limit on how many you can win.

The amount is drawn at random when you submit. It doesn't depend on what you rated or wrote. "Up to" is the most you can win, and most gifts are smaller. You see it straight away, for example ₹99 off your next event and Applies by itself at checkout · Until 22 Nov.

I gave feedback but didn't get a gift. Why?

A gift needs a written comment of at least the length the form shows. The form counts your words as you type, and the same few words repeated don't count.

If yours was shorter, you can still add to it until feedback closes, a week after the event. Right after you submit, select Add to my feedback. Later, open the event, select How was the session? on the website or Add Review in the app, add a few lines and select Update.

You also won't get a gift when:

  • the feedback was given after it closed, or the event ended before gifts started;
  • you already won a gift for that event;
  • you hosted or co-hosted the event;
  • you have already reached this month's limit.

How do I use my gift?

You don't need to do anything. Your gift comes off your next paid event ticket by itself. At checkout and on your invoice it shows as Feedback reward.

  • It comes off after any other discount, and can bring the price down to half the ticket's listed price, not lower. If only part of it fits, that part is used and the gift is used up.
  • One gift is used per booking. If you have more than one, the largest is used and the rest wait for your next bookings.
  • It isn't used on free events.
  • It lasts until the end of the day it shows (Until …), Indian time.
  • Ticket prices include GST, so GST is worked out on the amount you pay after the gift.

Why didn't my gift apply?

  • The event is free. Gifts are only used on paid tickets.
  • Other discounts already bring the ticket to half its listed price. The gift waits for a later booking.
  • It was used on an earlier paid ticket. A gift comes off your next paid ticket, whichever event that is.
  • It has expired. Each gift shows its last day when you win it.
  • You booked from a different GrowthX account from the one that won it.

Can I swap my gift for money, or give it to someone else?

No. A gift only works as an amount off a GrowthX event ticket. It can't be exchanged for money, paid into a bank account, given to someone else or added to another gift.

If a booking that used a gift is cancelled or refunded, the gift isn't returned, and any refund is the amount you actually paid. See the Terms of Use.

Patience—you’re about to be impressed.
