Contributing

Help with a specific problem you have relevant experience with. Member Connect shows the asks that match your experience. Every reply earns you 1 karma, and 5 if the asker marks your reply as the answer. You can also review a piece of work or share a practical guide in the relevant club; a real answer on a post there that asks for help earns 1 karma too, once per question.

A useful contribution explains what you tried, what happened and what you would change. When reviewing work, respond to the question the member asked rather than reviewing everything. Remove confidential employer, customer and personal information before posting.

Do not turn help into an unsolicited sales pitch, lead list or repeated direct message. For a formal session, event, venue or partnership proposal, use the separate proposal guidance in this section.

For an event you will host yourself, use Create event (see the hosting guide). For a session, venue or partner offer, send a concrete proposal through Report an issue, or post it in #host-club if it is tied to an event, before committing money, dates or people.

• State what you want to contribute and who it helps.
• Share your relevant experience and one example of the work.
• Describe the format, proposed date or availability, location if relevant, and the support you need.
• List any expected cost, payment, reimbursement, credit or content-rights requirement.

A proposal or draft is not approval, funding or confirmation that GrowthX will organise it.
